ORTHODONTIC AUXILARY SUPERSTAR needed FRIDAYS in Specialist Orthodontic Practice in New Lynn.

We are looking for an   orthodontic auxiliary superstar, with a caring disposition and a sunny personality, to join our busy specialist orthodontic practice. The role will suit a happy, motivated individual who is dedicated to providing superior patient care  and is confident in supporting and contributing to  our  dynamic team. This position is 4 -5 days a week. Clinical duties include assisting the orthodontists with their  full range of orthodontic clinical work, patient education and care , placing bonded retainers, sterilisation of instruments, taking digital patient records, pouring and trimming models, making bonded retainers, some administrative duties , digital scanning of patients and indirect bonding and placement of Invisalign attachments. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIC PRACTICE IS ESSENTIAL. Enthusiasm, reliability ,  a positive attitude and attention to detail is essential, as well as being a team player. Our practice prides ourselves in being technologically advanced and the successful candidate  will gain tremendous skills   and experience in digital orthodontics. Key skills:  excellent computer skills essential, works well in a team, friendly, caring, uses their initiative, highly motivated and has excellent communication skills and  being empathetic. The successful applicant  must have a proven track record delivering  excellent patient care. Variable hours may be available. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Current registration with the New Zealand Dental Council as an Orthodontic Auxiliary or Dental Hygienist is essential.
