  • Thanks to their revolutionary design, DESS® intraoral scan abutments don’t require a screw hole, drastically increasing the accuracy of Z-axis localization and avoiding any distortion. Its extreme ease of use, completely manual handling, as well as its small size, allow its use in both posterior and anterior quadrants. There’s a laser engraved reference on the body of the scan abutment for easy identification of the implant connection.
  • The abutments are integrated into our CAD/CAM libraries for the official Exocad®, 3Shape®, and Dental Wings® systems. In addition, they allow work to be carried out on Ti Bases, Multi-units, and UniAbutments. This makes the DESS® scan abutments the most flexible and versatile CAD/CAM tool on the market.
  • Intraoral scan abutments for clinical use are made of Titanium Grade V ELI for superior X-ray control and coated with Zirconium Nitride (ZrN) to reduce glare and increase durability.
